Family and Friends, it's been another great week down here in the heart of South America. I was a little sick earlier this week, but we are back at it now. Let's get to what went down. HACE FRIO As we enter winter down here, I was under the impression that Paraguay doesn't get cold. Whoever told me that was fronting so hard. This week got COLD. It's different from the cold in the States, though, because it's super humid here, and the humidity just amplifies the temperature. But nonetheless, I enjoyed the switch-up from the usual heat. The best part was yesterday when it got all cold. The branch pretends it's like Christmas time and plays Christmas hymns, so I got to catch a little Christmas vibe in May. Life is beautiful. ZC SWITCH UP ASUNCION So last minute they switched up the zone conference again and decided to do a big group one in Asunción at the mission office with zones 1, 8, and 9. Divisiones This week was super calm. We ran back divisions with the elders from Caaguazu. I was with Elder Valerdi from México and he's a machine. I love him. We did good work as always, pulled up to the noche de rama and played some soccer with some of the jóvenes. Valerdi and I were straight ministering to these brothers, not only teaching them the gospel, but how to ball also. What a night. Ended it all with the best lomitos in Oviedo on the corner. Life doesn't get much better. The OBRA We are going hard. Elder Raddie and I got a couple more weeks of this transfer. Right now we're in a full-court press on Satan if you know what I mean, and it's getting pretty scrappy. This week ended with the baptism of our guy Marcos! Fam, friends, first, my deepest apologies for not providing you with an update this past week. But just like that, two more weeks are down, blessings flowing, time is flying, I'm gonna need it all to slow down a little bit. But let's just get to it, shall we? LACTOLANDA In Paraguay, there's this dairy company, and they run it all down here. They are the dairy "big dog" of Paraguay without a doubt. Anything you can think of that's made with dairy, yeah, Lactolanda makes it, and their products are all over down here. They have their main factory in my zone, so this past p-day, some of the zone went over on a little field trip to Lactolanda to tour inside the factories, and it was crazy. I was like a kid in a candy store, or even better, a 19-year-old in a dairy plant. The plant is also run by a bunch of white German Mennonites. So it made the experience even crazier because the plant is just full of hundreds of these dudes who look exactly the same. I felt like ...
