BAILE INoLVIDABLE

The month of February flew by, and it was unforgettable. Now we're back with a little update. The month was full of ups, downs, heat, partido (soccer), sleepovers, listening to Bad Bunny in the street, councils, conferences, a little bit of sickness, birthdays, the temple, and, above all, helping bring people unto Christ. Sounds fun, huh? Let's get it. 20 IN PY A couple of weeks ago, I had my birthday down here in Encarnación. The Gianchandani family from CDE, who are like my second family, drove five hours here to Encarnación to have dinner with us just for my birthday. So the birthday dinner truly just felt like a family dinner. Insane. It's been a long time since I've had one of those, hahah. Feeling so blessed to have had such a great 20th down here in PY. ZONA 1 Our zone has been so great this transfer. This past month, because everyone in the zone lives so far, whenever we all come together, we have these giant sleepovers with all the elders. We play soccer in the...

Fam and friends, it has been a good minute, and I should be better at sliding you guys updates. So let's get straight into it. BYE CDE Your boy got transferred, and leaving CDE was SO hard. Saying bye to all the converts, members, and that beautiful city was a tough experience. However, I feel so blessed to have had the chance to serve in such a unique place and work alongside los Esteños. CDE, I will be back. ENCARNACIÓN With the transfers, I popped up on the opposite side of the map in the city of Encarnación. I went from having the bridge to Brazil 5 minutes from my apartment in CDE to now having the bridge to Argentina 5 minutes from my apartment here in Encarnación. I honestly love it here so far. It's right on the border of Argentina, there is this huge lake-river thing, and there is a "beach" (the only beach in Paraguay). The branch is small and in a state where it needs some work, but I'm hyped. My comp is Elder Johnstun, and he's like 6'4", s...

Mi gente, how are we doing? How have the holidays been treating you? Did Santa come? I sure hope so. Let me know, and let's hop into a little update. CAMBIOS I had to say goodbye to my brother Elder Lovell. He won't admit it, but I know he cried on the bus ride back to Asunción… No, but on a real note, I'm gonna miss that guy a ton. But my new comp is Elder Flete. He’s from the Dominican Republic, and we make a dirty duo. He's teaching me how to speak like a Dominican, so fire me up. #queloquemiloco WAR ZONE Just a fun little culture update from CDE. So those Orbeez guns that were super popular a while back have finally made their way to CDE, and here they BLEW UP. Everybody and their mom has one of those fully automatic Orbeez guns, and these streets and neighborhoods have become an absolute war zone. It has become a daily event for some youth to come ripping by on a motorcycle, spin the block on us, and spray us out with Orbeez. It's actually really funny. RECORD ...
