ENCARNAYORK
Fam and friends, it has been a good minute, and I should be better at sliding you guys updates. So let's get straight into it.
BYE CDE
Your boy got transferred, and leaving CDE was SO hard. Saying bye to all the converts, members, and that beautiful city was a tough experience. However, I feel so blessed to have had the chance to serve in such a unique place and work alongside los Esteños. CDE, I will be back.
ENCARNACIÓN
With the transfers, I popped up on the opposite side of the map in the city of Encarnación. I went from having the bridge to Brazil 5 minutes from my apartment in CDE to now having the bridge to Argentina 5 minutes from my apartment here in Encarnación. I honestly love it here so far. It's right on the border of Argentina, there is this huge lake-river thing, and there is a "beach" (the only beach in Paraguay). The branch is small and in a state where it needs some work, but I'm hyped. My comp is Elder Johnstun, and he's like 6'4", so we make a deadly duo. Big stuff in the works down here in Encarnación.
LESSONS LEARNED
A phrase that has been getting me going lately:
MAN'S EXTREMITY IS GOD'S OPPORTUNITY
These words are piercing. When we arrive at our extremity, out of the comfort zone is truly when God is given the opportunity to take over. We go from the comfort zone to the miracle zone. I have learned the miracle zone is not that comfortable.
Love you all.
Take it to the extremity and ask yourself, “What's next?”
Hit me with an update. It's been way too long.
