Que Lo Que
Mi gente, how are we doing? How have the holidays been treating you? Did Santa come? I sure hope so. Let me know, and let's hop into a little update.
CAMBIOS
I had to say goodbye to my brother Elder Lovell. He won't admit it, but I know he cried on the bus ride back to Asunción… No, but on a real note, I'm gonna miss that guy a ton. But my new comp is Elder Flete. He’s from the Dominican Republic, and we make a dirty duo. He's teaching me how to speak like a Dominican, so fire me up. #queloquemiloco
WAR ZONE
Just a fun little culture update from CDE. So those Orbeez guns that were super popular a while back have finally made their way to CDE, and here they BLEW UP. Everybody and their mom has one of those fully automatic Orbeez guns, and these streets and neighborhoods have become an absolute war zone. It has become a daily event for some youth to come ripping by on a motorcycle, spin the block on us, and spray us out with Orbeez. It's actually really funny.
RECORD BREAKING
This month of December has been insane. Our zone, Z9 Ciudad del Este, finished with 31 baptisms this month. The previous record was 20. History is in the making, legacies are being created, and we're all fired up. Feeling blessed to have at least one more month here to help the Lord throw a few more miracles down.
WORK
Since the last time we talked, many other miracles have gone down with our friends Fabio, Thaiel, Lidia, Thiago, and Rosalia because they were all able to follow in Christ’s footsteps and be baptized. This month of January, we hope to see more miracles of the same sort, so pray for the gente of CDE.
It's been real.
Hit my line and give me a holiday season life update… it's overdue.
