Fam, friends, another week down here; all is straight calm. Loving life. Let's get to it. Yo, I know you're wondering Had a crazy experience this week. One of the guys we're working with right now, his name's Raul. So about a month ago, Raul just kinda dipped outta here, like 3 days before his baptism to Buenos Aires, Argentina, super unfortunate, right? Anyway, he's been down there for a sec and he's been meeting with missionaries there now, which is super cool. And he's going to get baptized down there. So he sent us the WhatsApp number of the elders in Buenos Aires he's been working with so we could coordinate a little and confound upon them our knowledge of this legend Raul. Anyway, we hit their line, and one of the Elders is in my ward! Shout out to Elder Dixon. So now we're in contact with these elders, as they're actively trying to steal our baptism… haha, I'm playing. But, I'm now doing some missionary work with a kid from my home...

Fam, Friends. We're so back. Another blessed week down in Paraguay, let's get straight to it. Lluvia The heat has chilled out because their fall/autumn is starting up here. So we've been richly blessed with some rainfall, a little too richly blessed. It's been straight dumping all week. Paraguay doesn't have the killer drainage system that the states have, so the roads flood in like 5 minutes tops. Before you know it, you're walking up a road/temporary river shin-deep in water. It's wild. But, you know, it's a good time, I love it. Richie Brothers and sisters, Elder Raddie and I had something wild happen to us this week. So, we're walking, right, and it's dark or whatever. This car drives by us, then stops, rolls down the window, and in perfect American English goes, “Yo dudes? Do you guys need a ride or something?” Brother, I was tripping so hard. I haven't heard someone speak English to me other than missionaries since January, so I'm s...

Fam and friends, life is good! This week got busy and packed with good stuff. Due to the craziness of the week, the formats are gonna be a little different, but a heater email nonetheless. So, shall we? P-Day de Zona / the whole week The week was nuts; all the days just blended together, so I'm gonna start on Monday. We had zone p-day this last Monday, and it went crazy. The whole zone met up in Caaguazu to eat, play soccer, chop it up, and whatnot. When we got to playing soccer, it started straight dumping rain. Never seen it rain this hard in my life. So, we're just playing in the rain. It was so fun; people were slipping and eating it left and right, we're just soaking wet. Man, life is good, right? Post-game, you know I had to hit some jersey swaps and tie swaps with some of the elders (reference the Google Photos). You already know I'm still blossoming into a seasoned tie merchant. Then that night, there was a little meeting, and we couldn't make it back, so we...

Brothers and sisters, another chill week in the books, loving life here, so let's get to it. The golden arches One of the greatest things about Oviedo is that, by some miracle, one of the only McDonald's in the country is only a 10-minute walk from my apartment. To be real, this is such a blessing. After a long day's work, every once in a while, we swing by McDonald's and grub out. You already know every time I see those golden arches, eagle cries and the national anthem play in my head. And the thing about it is it's great, the food is so good, even though it's a McDonald's in Paraguay. And the ice cream machine works EVERY DAY. So, if you work at a McDonald's in the states, quit frontin', we know that ice cream machine's not broken. Anyway, the McDonald's goes brazy. Batman So, there's a guy in the ward, his name is Reynaldo. One of my favorite guys in the ward, no doubt. He's a more recent convert and he's a little shy, but the...
